We are Paul Holmes and Sarah Wanstall the founding members of NEG35 and we are based in Brighton, West Sussex, UK as part of a partnership with Coachwerks!
We are film enthusiasts that like nothing more than going out and shooting film. We have teamed together for NEG35 where we would like to share with you our findings on all things photography, film and darkroom related...
We are currently have a lovely bunch of members and you can check us out on social media sites where we test out many film cameras from old to more recent, the expensive to the 'cheap finds', a whole range of film types and much more.
Our vision for the NEG35 Society is to meet casually with other film enthusiasts on a monthly basis to talk, share experiences, tips, ideas and projects - basically anything film photography related. We would like to invite you to become a member and join us on our adventure, below is a list of what your membership allows:
Enjoy:
* Informal gatherings with other local film enthusiasts to share ideas, inspiration, tips and techniques. These will be held at our society headquarters in Crawley, with its own darkroom, studio and lecture room. Refreshments will be provided.
* Days out shooting at various locations.
* Scheduled talks such as covering the basics of film photography, developed printing techniques, film and camera comparisons...
* Hands on tuition in the darkroom with negative and print developing.
* Access to pre-booked darkroom and studio sessions individually or as groups.
* Access to hundreds of classic and modern film cameras from the NEG35 collection.
* Chances to exhibit your work in public exhibitions.
* Access to NEG35’s Flickr gallery to exhibit your work worldwide.
Membership is £60 per year* and can be given as a gift.
* Some additional costs maybe involved such as travel expenses on days out and camera hire fees etc.
